Was / Wasn't / Won't Be

Join me at The Ambo Gallery for the launch of my new solo exhibition and an exclusive public workshop.

I am thrilled to warmly invite you to the opening of my upcoming exhibition, Was / Wasn’t / Won’t Be, launching next month at The Ambo Gallery in Wagga Wagga.

This body of work is a deeply personal interrogation of the archetypal roles and moral ideals that take root inside the female body. Through a tactile layering of printmaking, collage, and textiles, repetitive marks and ghostly silhouettes visualise the tension between inherited duty and personal reclamation.

The exhibition explores an atmosphere of presence through absence, inviting you to reflect on the quiet structures of systemic regulation and the complex emotional landscapes of navigating childlessness and bodily autonomy.

I would love to celebrate this new collection with you on opening night over complimentary drinks and light refreshments.

Public Program Feature: DIY Stamping Workshop

As part of the public programming for the exhibition, I am hosting an intimate, hands-on afternoon exploring the tactile world of relief printmaking.

In this adults-only, beginner-friendly workshop, you will carve individual stamps from soft lino blocks and explore how a singular form can be repeated, layered, and combined with ink to create a larger visual narrative. All core materials are included, though you are welcome to bring specialty papers or blank fabrics to experiment with.

  • Date: Saturday, 4 July | Time: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

  • Location: Inside The Ambo Gallery (Surrounded by the exhibition artwork)

  • Ages: Adults only (18+)

  • Cost: $20 (Includes soft-carve lino, ink, and paper)

  • What to bring (Optional): All core materials are included, but you are welcome to bring along any specialty papers, cardstock, or blank fabrics you might like to print on.

  • Strictly Limited Capacity: To keep the setting intimate and focused, there is a maximum of 8 participants for this workshop. Booking in advance is essential to secure your place.

Thank you so much for your ongoing support of my creative practice. I hope to see you in the gallery on June 12!
